Partnership with You

Through the generosity of Community Cooperative, Ownership Matters has been able to launch a new conversation within the worlds of the solidarity economy, impact investing and racial equity. Now almost at the one-year mark, we want to expand the circle of that conversation in partnership with you, our readers.

Here are some things we hope to work with you to achieve:

• Building capacity

  We want to do what we do more effectively and without undue individual burden on team members.

• Diversifying our contributing voices

  We want the newsletter to publish — and pay — more writers, with greater representation from communities solidarity economy means a refusal to relegate to the margins.

• Expanding the project’s reach

  We want the story of economic transformation and empowerment Ownership Matters has a part in telling to find a wider audience.

Working with our readers doesn’t just mean we want your financial support, though. We want your input as much as we want your investment. It’s for this, in part, that we’ve created a space on this website that we call the Editor / Reader Circle.
